I would like to express my deepest sympathy to the Faherty family. Your father was a dear friend of mine and had a profound impact on my life, as he did with everyone lucky enough to have been blessed with his friendship.

I remember when he bought the house in Summit, times in Bay Head, and how he looked after my sister and her three little girls after Dave's untimely death. My eldest son is named David Connor. Roger was a gentleman.

It was with a great sense of loss that I heard of Roger's death. I wanted to let you know that you have my greatest sympathy, and my heart is truly saddened.

We knew Roger for much too short a time, but in that time learned to know a man of charm, wit, love and incredible positive influence for those around him.
