I was so sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Olive. I had worked for him in his law office in Summit in the mid to late 80's. He was a perfect gentlemen, very patient and a wonderful man to work with. I extend my condolences to his family. Susan Fieldsend

My very deepest sympathy to each and all of you who knew and loved Dick. I last saw him at our 50th reunion in Summit, but had known him since 1949. Dick was my very first date at 12 years old. His father drove us to the movies and home from the "Sweet Shoppe". I cherish those wonderful memories.

Dick was my Lincoln School classmate back in first grade, and I'm very sorry that he has died. My memories of him will be good ones . . . and may you, his family, have the same.

Hi Greg and Family,
I know how difficult it is to lose a parent as I've been down that road before. No matter how prepared you think you are, you are never really ready to give them up. Focus on all the good times and the knowledge that he loved you and would want you to be sad for awhile and then focus on life. If we can help in any way please let us know. I'm sorry you are so far away that it prevents us from visiting.

God knew what a great man He let us have here on earth. But He needed you back Home with Him. What a wonderful, fun-loving Father-in-Law that will be missed, but I'm sure glad I have known for 17 years. You have left me with your best gift of all, your son, Gregory. Know he will be loved, now and forever. RIP now, Richard L. Olive.
