Alistair Maclean of New Providence, NJ passed away on Friday, July 23, 2010 at the age of 52.
Visitation will be held in Paul Ippolito Berkeley Memorial 646 Springfield Ave. Berkeley Heights, NJ on Friday, July 30th from 6 to 8 pm and Saturday, July31st from 10 to 10:30 am. Mr. Maclean was born in Jamestown, Scotland and lived in England and Raleigh, NC before moving to New Providence 18 years ago.
He was a computer analyst for 30 years and was employed by Merrill Lynch for the last 5 years. He was an avid photographer and his passions included mototcycles and cycling.
Mr. Maclean is survived by his wife, Lois (nee Jasuta), and he is the son of Janet Maclean of England and the late Donald. He is also survived by his siblings; Allison LeHane and Ian Maclean both of England, his mother-in-law, Grace Jasuta of Reading, PA, as well as two nieces and one nephew.
