Mrs. Eileen M. Magee (nee O'Donnell), of Basking Ridge, NJ passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 in Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown, NJ, at the age of 81.
Visitation will be at the Paul Ippolito Berkeley Memorial 646 Springfield Avenue, Berkeley Heights, NJ on Thursday, July 8th from 2-4 and 7-9PM. Family and friends are invited to join the family on Friday, July 9th at 10 AM to celebrate the Funeral Mass in St. James Church 184 Finely Ave, Basing Ridge, NJ 07920.
Eileen was born on May 31, 1929 to Adrian and Kathryn O'Donnell in Bronx, NY. In 1951, she graduated from Fordham University where she met and later married her beloved husband Peter. They resided in Long Island and Berkeley Heights, NJ for 20 years before moving to Basking Ridge, NJ 10 years ago.
Mrs. Magee was a Travel agent with Travel Headquarters at the time located in Millburn, NJ for 20 years, before retiring 15 years ago. She loved to travel and share those experiences with her family.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Peter J. Magee, her loving children Robert E. Magee and his wife Susan of CT, P.J. and his wife Katherine of S.C., Kathryn Mary Magee of MA, Carol A. Smith and her husband Sean of Long Island, Stephanie Marie Nicoletti and her husband Joseph of CT and John P. Magee of Basking Ridge. She is also survived by 13 precious grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother John O'Donnell and sister Mary Truex.
